So I was down at Nam. Half way down my third pass, and my guages all die on me except for the Autometers, tach and all. So I get my ticket, drive back through the pits, and back the car in its spot. I turned the car off, and that was it. No more car. It had votage left in the battery (radio, headlights, etc), but as soon as I tried to start it....nothing. No clicks, no turns, no nothing. All the electronics would just cut off. We tried to jump it, nothing. So a $110 tow later, and my car is parked in the garage, dead. WTF? Ideas? Where should I start?

something like that happend to me a while ago. it was a little electrical problem. find what it is

could just be a bad ground, or a short. something is suckin the electrical power. check ur starter fuse, its probably blown

I remember that happening to me, but it was the result of bad terminals on the battery. Replaced the terminals and everything was great!

might want to check your positive starter wire....i had an issue like this before

My car blew a fuse when that happened to me. Check the fuses in the drivers door jam. G

same thing happened to me after work one day my car tried to start but nothing I moved the battery around it started right up the next day I cleaned got some battery terminal cleaner and protector haven't had a problem since I did have a lot of corrosion come off from banging the positive terminal with a wrench not to hard thought just a light tap a little it was caught up under the rubber

Had the same thing happen to me when the running light went out on the Trans am it ended up having moisture in it and shorted it out, Hence It blew a fuse Check the guage fuses i believe it is should be a fuse though because that is what exactly happened to me I didnt have any guages and when I shut the car off it wouldnt crank.
