Default LT1 been sitting for 18 months

I've got a friend with a 1997 T/A (LT1) that's been sitting in his driveway for about 18 months. It's been undriveable due to some broken rims that he couldn't afford to replace (he has a company car anyway) but the engine was in good shape and now he wants to get it up and running again. Other than the obvious replacing of the wheels, what does he need to do to make sure that everything will work properly when he starts it up? I assume oil change, ATF change, and radiator fluid change... anything else? Are there any huge potential pitfalls he needs to look out for in a car that's been sitting for so long?

I started my old 383 with no oil change or anything after about 12 months of sitting. Smoked a lot as it burned stuff off, but other than that...

change all fluids, probably want to drain the gas tank and put new gas in. Clean/replace filters, do some fuel injector cleaner, maybe clean the engine compartment up.
