Default Rhino Ramps

I am need of some ramps, the wooden homemade ones arent cutting it anymore, so i was looking at the Rhino ramps at autozone. They say they can hold 4,000lbs so I figure that should be good for me. Anyone have/use them..comments on them..just wana know if there crap or not befor i buy

They are great. I think they are made for lower cars like ours.

can you just drive up them as is, or do you have to put a board or anything ? I have some old red metal ones that require me to put a board on the rmp to take the angle out of it.

I have them and use them. But my TA is lowered so I just put phone books/ pieces of wood under there to help with the height.

They work good.

I don't have any issues with the Rhino Ramps. I have Strano's springs, so it's about 1.2-ish drop. The only issue I have with the 4000lbs ones is that my 275's don't quite fit, check and see if the 8000 (? and I think they're gray?) has the same angle, and get those if they're wider (I think they are).

yeah my tires dont fit on them either but as far as usability, I love em! beats trying to jack the car up everytime to change the oil or clean. they dont even scrub the air dam on my car but it is as high as a truck.

I have the Gray higher capacity ones. Im lowered on hotchkis 1" and I go up fine. The gray ones are wider I think too. I love those things. Although in the garage they like to slip forward instead of lettin the wheels go up em. I always eventually get the car up there though.

yup i have them too...definately easier then putting the car on jackstands everytime i need to change the oil..I'm sure its common sense but dont try to eyeball it and drive up them..place each ramp directly in front of each tire and push it up against the tire...this way you'll know if there is gonna be any clearance issues. I have none on my 99 at the stock (4X4) ride height

My car is lowered. The friggin torque arm crossmember and cut out hit the street at times and I have never had any problem getting the front or rear to go up on the ramps without needing to use anything to reduce the grade. Only problem I have is getting them not to slide when I pull the car up on them or pull it off of them.

I just put them right in front of the tires and try and wedge them underneath a little. Seems to work for me.

Default Rhino ramps

Mine tend to slide as well, but only in the garage. On my driveway, I don't seem to have any problems. I agree that the black, lower capacity ones are a bit narrow for my 275 size tires, but I make due. Overall I'm happy with them.

If they slide, place a piece of carpet under the front of each ramp.

For the guys that say their ramps want to slide - is that rubber block still on your ramps? I noticed that my rubber blocks wanted to pop out, so I've siliconed them in. I line them up, and when they are where I want them, I give each one a kick, so that they are wedged under the tire - it works for me.

I had some for my daily driver, 06 nissan frontier crew cab, on my 99 firehawk, these work fine too. I even back up on these too for rear work, luv them but I always use a back up jackstand or floor jack JUST to be SAFE!!!
When you guys say grey or black, I have a pair that look grey but could be black...how do you tell?
Got mine at wally-mart.
PS-I also used these on my 00 Ford Expedition before it was sold off.
