Default temp question

ok so my cars temp in my 01 t/a is at 210 some times like 190 somthing. does that sounds good because most of the time it was at 190 somthing but tonight i was driving home and it stayed around 210 i dont think it went over the 210 mark. just right at it does that sounds ok or does it sound to hot? its the stock thermostat to

Even if you install a 160 degree thermostat, (which I suggest that you do) the temp readings will remain about the same. To actually make the engine run cooler, you will have to reprogram the PCM to lower the fans on/off temps to get a lower reading and even then you may not see much of a change on the gauge but the engine will be running a bit cooler.
