help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't read odII port-car is random missfires

Default help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't read odII port-car is random missfires
the car has 10.4 taylor wires bosh 02 and irridium plugs.
the car will drive fine one min and bad the next. The car will back fire and shoot flames out. I went to have the codes scanned but the tech 2 wouldn't read it like the obdII port wasn't getting any power!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please help!!!!

If you don't have any power to the DLC check and see if the CIG/ACCY fuse is blown.

If that fuse is good, with your symptoms it very well could be your PCM has gone south

the fuse was bad, but the car still is miss firing

the only code the car had was bank 1 sensor 1 rich or low voltage

Does Any Know If A Knock Sensor Will Cause This Even If It Is Not Puting Out And Codes?

A bad precat 02 sensor can cause problems. What makes you think it's a knock sensor? Scan the car for current codes.

The Car Has No Codes. It Is A Heads And Cam Car, So A Lot Has Been Tuned Out. When I Put The Laptop On The Car The Spark Adv. Reads 18 To 32 Degrees Of Timing When It Is Messing Up. It Comes And Goes And That Is Why I Am Thinking Knock.

when the car miss fires it jerks really hard and wont stop. and then out of nowhere the car run great?
