Default no gapping a plug.

when i put in a new plug at #8 cylinder i didnt gap it. was in a hurry. is their any real serious threat of not gapping a new sparplug to cars specs? its been their for months now and runs fine. though i am hearing a ticking noise more now. which is why im bringing this up. and a sparkplug not gapped right cause a ticking sound?

No big deal....newer plugs come real close....and missing one won't do anything.

Yeah, they come gapped pretty close out of the box, don't worry about the gap. If you have a ticking sound that wasn't there before, maybe a plug or wire isn't tight. If you have the AIR tube, and moved it to change plugs, you might have a gasket leak.
