Low Oil Light?
Well, I searched, but yall know how that works around here, so here's my problem.
My low oil light came on today out of the blue, I checked my oil level and it was fine (about 1/2 qt below the top of the full marker) so I went out and added another qt anyway. The Low Oil light is still on, and I am now ~1/2 qt over the life

Sensor could be going out, connector to the sensor could be freaking out, wire could be cut on that connection go and check it out. A new low oil sesnor is like 24bucks. Devin

Yeah sounds like the sensor/wiring. It's supposed to come on at about 2 quarts low, then after filling goes off after the PCM sees 194* and the ignition is turned off for a minimum of 1 hour.
