Default Common leaks on 99 F-bods

Something is leaking from under my car. Not antifreeze not rear oil not motor oil. It is clean looks like new oil. Is this oil from my trans. Its a M6. Is there a common leak on 99 F-bodys with 75k on them Just asking because I have not ben able to look under there yet.

I got 87k miles and no leaks. I don't think theres a common leak. Its definitely oil though right? It's not from your a/c? The only way to find out is park it overnight on a clean spot. Maybe some cardboard, and jack the car up in the place you let it sit and look under it to find the source.

What general area is it leaking from? Could it be clutch/brake fluid? Dexron III is red.

If its leaking, the reservoir will likely be low too.

It is not Dextron III or condesation from the A/C. Looks like it is comming from the trans where the drive shaft is.

So I think it is clutch fluid. Looks like it is comming from between the trans and what ever the part is that bolts to the rear of the trans? So between the trans and the drive shaft. How I am I ever going to fix this??

Dexron 3 is RED...

If it is coming from the BACK of the transmission, near the driveshaft, it is transmission fluid. It is most likely a rear transmission seal. I'd recommend the GM OEM replacement, although an AutoZone piece is significantly cheaper, the difference in quality and sealing is miles apart.

My rack and pinion is leaking. I think thats a common problem for any car. I just refill it every oil change with fluid.
