Default No driver side brake light?

My driver side brake light went out so i replaced it. Now when i apply the brakes it still dosen't light up. When i turn on the lights the new bulb is lit up so i know its working but it just dosen't work when the brakes are applied. Anyone got any ideas to whats going on?

Try turning the bulb 180 degrees in its socket, its prolly backwards.

Maybe you got a bad bulb with the brake filament burned out, tried swapping it out with the passenger side bulb.
