tach & speedo not working??

I just did a heads cam swap for a friend and now that its back togeather the tach and speedo is not working I starts and runs fine just that. I checked the fuses and coil packs everything looks goood....any ideas???

did you take the guage cluster out, did you unhook the battery before you started working on the car?

cluster did not come out and yes I did unhook the batt.
