Arrow Somebody Slap Me!

Just finished rebuilding and adding a couple of goodies to the car and I could slap myself for not knowing this but, I am all out of resources. Looking down at the motor from the front of the car, right under the radiator fill cap there are 2 small coolant lines. The top one goes under the battery to the reserve tank, but were does the lower one go to? Just put on new heads, intake manifold and a FAST T/B. There are no other F bodies around to look at. Thanks guys....Im retarted.!

this may sound stupid, but why would coolant go to the TB. I have read all about the bypass and everything, but, looking at the FAST TB, theres a little passageway that looks as though if coolant got in there it would go right down into the intake manifold. I am probobly wrong and the hose is bent like it should go there, but Im just making sure. Anyone got anypics of a stock TB set up or the stock PCV system. Still deciding on what to do with that...catch can or stock PCV. What do you guys think?

Don't know about the Fast - but looked at mine after getting home and the lower hose does indeed go to the throttle body.

it's for emissions, gas mileage, and for colder climates. The extremely cold air makes it idle roughly I guess so it helps smooth it out. And I guess the warmer air gives you better mileage and less gases out the pipes. A lot of guys take it out cuz the cooler denser air gives you a few more horses. I left mine however for the gas mileage and I do live in Jersey so it helps in the winter. you won't hurt anything, just make sure you plug the radiator and the line on the driver's side that goes into the TB, it comes off your crossover pipe under the manifold. I would recommend plugging the TB ports too to keep it clean.
