Default Car won't start

Just got back from Iraq yesterday (hooray!) Car was moved every week until last week. I went to start it today and all I get is a clicking sound. Lights/CD player work fine. Put 2 gallons of fuel in and checked the fuse already. No Joy.

Ideas??

Welcome back

Turn on your dome lights. Try and start the car, watch the lights. Do they dim? If so, bad/dead battery. If not, your starter is probably taken a dump on you.

I'd suspect the battery/connections first too. You can bring it in and have it load tested for free at places like auto zone. Welcome back and thank you for your service.

Welcome back

Just had that problem, for me it was a bad battery. You can get that tested and if good then its the starter.
