Default trans am headlight problem, and no its not the motor.

on the drivers side when the headlights are on both the low beam and the high beam are both on, the are both dim though. when i turn on the brights both lights go out. i replaced both low and high beams and still does the same thing. any ideas on what it could be?

the passanger side is working fine the way it should be.

thanks
steve

thanks to ZeeVert on the board i found out that it was a bad ground for the headlights. when i traced the ground it went into the plug for the headlight motor and that it wasnt getting a good conection so i just hardwired the ground and the light wires to be safe and they work good.
