ripped up PCV system, advice needed

ripped up PCV system, advice needed ive known that the front of my PCV system (right beside oil filler cap) has been torn for awhile, but when i was removing the valve covers this weekend, i saw that the tube running behind the intake was ripped completely in two. is this a really urgent matter? i know some people dont have one at all, but having all the ripped lines in there makes me worry a little. should i just rip it all out and put a breather on? what do yall think?
