im having trouble with a low idle (around 800) and stumbling. i pulled off the pcv line and ran a piece of 3/8 fuel line (without a pcv valve). this made the car idle perfectly. i put the pcv back in and it stumbles and wants to die at idle, unless i tap the gas. does this sound like a vacuum leak somewhere, or do i need a better tune? i always thought a vacuum leak made the car idle higher.its an lq4, 224/230 cam with a 114, 3400 stall, and a mail order tune. its had the basic rough idle and im tired of it, im trying to get rid of it.

how did the valve look? when you shake it does it rattle or does it not make any noise. might be tune-up time.
