Default problems after FAST 90/90 install. need help

well i installed my 90/90 this weekend, at first the idle was going from start up @1500 jumping up to 3 or 4 k, then it woudl back down. I backed out the screw with that spring on it and it made a little difference. I also replaced the TPS and it helped a bit. Now the car starts but while driving it feels like the car is going on its own since the throttle is opening up. when i come to a complete stop the idle will raise til about 3k then if i tap the throttle it backs down to about 1100 and will stay there. The SES light came on and it was throwing a P0102 code which is a MAF Code but i dont know what to check to clear this problem.. The car hasnt been dyno tuned since i installed the intake.

Any suggestions?

More than likely, yes. There is a much larger amount of air going through the MAF and the entire motor, so to compensate it dumps more fuel, hence the idle. Get it tuned and it should solve your problems. Keep in mind the stock tb and intake are something like 70-75 mm, and your MAF is around the same size.

If your thinking its a vacuum leak, while at idle spray starting fluid around the manifold, if theres a change in rpm you have a vacuum leak. I'm saying it's a tune issue. I had similar problem and a tune did wonders.

Did you change the valley cover bolts? I guess the stock ones if you dont change them the fast will not clear and it will crack the bottom of the intake
