Default Problem on startup

I have been having a problem with my car for the first few minutes after startup. The car starts right up, but idles a little higher than normal. when I try to drive it, it is as if the car has no power. As I go into gear the rpm drop (almost as if I tried to drive off in 4th gear or so). if i go for broke and rev it way up and then dump, the rpm drop way way down again and then the car is rolling and still running, but its acting like it wants to die but is only on because its rolling in gear. If i give it a moment or rev it way up for a few seconds the idle goes back to normal and it starts driving normally again.

what is wrong with my car?

i would make sure your getting fuel and spark on all cylinders first. what are your mods? is it tuned right? did a new knock accompany this?

intake, catback, 125 shot of nitrous. HP tunes to 12.2 AF while spraying, no knock. everything with the tune should be fine. and its only while the motor is cold. it takes about 5 min of idling and its good to go.

how much miles do you have on it? have u ever replaced the fuel filter? Mine does the same thing but not nearly as bad, but i have a cam and a tune that isnt as good as it could be for idle.

i would check my fuel pressure at idle to see how it is.Possible things that can cause that could be your ECT not working properly or MAF.

Mine would do somethin similar to this every once in a while so I finally got a computer diagnostic and it said it was the O2 sensors. That didn't make sense so I looked around with a couple experienced mechanics and it ended up being the fuel pump.
