help with 180 headlight motor gear

Default help with 180 headlight motor gear

does any one have the steps for how to take out the head light and how to take out the motor for a 5th generation trans am for the 180 gear switch

Ya you take off the head light door first.

Then take out the headlight bezel (the black piece)

Oh and make sure to turn your lights on first and then unhook your positive bat. cable.

After you take all that stuff off you should have a lil bit of room to get a wrench and a socket down in there to loosen it up..

IIRC the bolts are 10mm just to save you some time .

After you get the motor out take the black plate off with a flathead. Use lil pressure so you dont break it.

After you get it off, take out the gear and turn 180 deg. and repeat the steps in reverse.

That should fix all the lil problems your having.
