Default Where can I buy PLASTIC headlight gears?

I already have brass gears in mine, but they don't last a lifetime either, even after turning them. So I want to go the cheaper way out. Does anyone know where I can pick up a set of the OEM gears? I looked online @ Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts, etc but can't find them. I looked under GMpartsdirect but my computer works too slow to browse through tons of pages for them.

There is also a metal arm that helps hold the cover in place being sold by someone. I'd have to look it up.
Your gears are still failing quickly probably due to flexing of the housing. Try reinforcing it. Sounds like JasonWW may have a solution for that too.

NAPA has them... do a search of their website for headlight motor gear or something of that effect.

to bad you can not make new side where the ring gear is so that it meshes better to the worm gear.
I have the plastic gears and made new side out of lexan plastic I just move up the hole center on the new lexan so it fits better wit the worm gear....
works great and cheap.
