Default q about oil

alright, I had this car for about a year, and it has about 115xxx miles on it. I've been using mobile 1 synthetic since I got it. It makes that ticking sound that the aluminum blocks are prone to do, but reading on the few threads here, it isn't a big problem.......

My real question is concerning the oil. I've been using mobile 1 5w 30 regular synthetic, and for my next oil change, I plan to stick with it. However, futher down the road... since I have a high milage camaro, should I make that switch to the "high milage protection" oil that Mobile 1 has? I think I did use it for one change, but later on, should I be using the high milage syn oil?

Useually the "HIGH Milage protection" oils are either full syn, or at least a Syn Blend. I mean for your car I would just keep using what your using. I've always used Dino oil and its been fine.

Just chng the oil every 2500 miles and keep up on matience and you will be fine.

You're good doing what you're doing. No need to change.

All you ever thought you wanted to know about oil. The High Milage stuff seems to have a better additive package according to these guys.
