Default vacuum question

where is the easyest place to do a vacuum test on a ls1. its a 01 if that matters

I would think that the evap line that goes to right after the throttle bodie would work. Just take the line off and you have a vacuum port there. I'm no expert but thats what I would do.

What about the brake booster hose? I hear lots of people using the GM topend cleaner using that hose. Do you think there's a vacuum leak somewhere? Is it idling real rough?
