Default Airbag Light?

Anyone know how to reset the airbag light on a 95 T/A? I am also trying to find out where the problem lies, any ideas on how to troubleshoot the system? Any advise is much appreciated?

There's already a guide on this... It's listed in the stickies, open with Adobe Reader.

Thanks Haacer, however I don't think this will help me much as I have a 95 and they used different SRS mods until 96. The 96-up has one sensor/SRS comp, however I have 3 sensors and a SRS comp. I don't think mine is as smart as the units that work with the OBDII cars. Any ideas/suggestions?

Hmmm.... My car is a 95 and spits out codes nicely when hooked up to an appropriate scanner. The only problem that I've run into is that you need an OBD I scanner with the OBD II plug and the appropriate non-standard airbag code module in the scanner.

I can't remember if this system flashes the code at you, but you could try counting the flashes when you first turn it on. If it gives you a code in this manner it will be two digits... For instance flash pause flash flash flash for code 13. Try that... Otherwise I think you're gonna need a scanner.

You can always start replacing parts, but without the code you don't know why that light is on.
