acceleration issue

Default acceleration issue

okay so i drove my t/a to work today and when i would go WOT the rpms would shoot up and the car would go but the car wouldnt jump like it should. It seemed the rpms would shoot up way faster then normal. Anyone know what the problem might be?

A slipping clutch or clutch pack whichever applies.

damn i was thinking it might be the clutch.

do you think its the clutch going out or do i need to just bleed or replace the fluid?

Unless you have a leak in the system, it's probably the clutch. Check the fluid to be sure that it isn't dirty looking and filled appropriately.

How many miles on the current clutch?

there is about 74k miles on the car ive only driven it about 1500 miles and i havent checked the fluid. I will look at it tomorrow.
