Default radiator stop leak

has anyone used any of these products? i used costal last night and it said to let the car idle for 15-30 mins. so after 30 mins there was still steam comming from under the radiator hold down. i belive that these products work by finding the leak when hot and sealing when cooled down? does anyone have any experiance with any product?

Worked good in an old work truck we had growing up. I would only use it for a temp fix though.

All of those radiator stop-leak fixes are temporary and mainly for emergency repairs. You need to replace/repair the radiator if it's leaking. I have successfully sealed up a radiator in an old farm truck years ago with the old egg trick.....got me 15 miles into town to get a replacement.

Lucky. when I bought my Z 2 days later the nipple for the reservoir cracked. I tried to patch it but it didn't work. I told the dealer to come get it and fix it or keep it. The guy put in a new radiator out of his pocket and had it back to me the next day. Never felt luckier, considering the car had 103k miles on it.

I would not depend on that crap at all. All stop leak products are different forms of garbage. You can try using them as a temp. fix but there problem is you don't know when it will give out.
