kind of a humbling experience because i often see trans services as a piece of cake, but when doing a trans service on my mom's 04 lincoln towncar i dropped the pan and found this (attached) part laying in the bottom of the pan. Its yellow, is a plug, and has an o ring on it. Im not sure where it came from as it was laying in the pan.

Any help here?

Maybe you should try posting this in the transmission section...

It's been two weeks, so you must have the trans back together, but I'd still be a bit concerned if it was mine.
