Default Dead spot 2500

Mid throttle I have a dead spot at 2500rpms, car doesn't want to get up and go past it unless I really get on it. Full throttle, its not there. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I am without a scan tool so I am kind of shooting in the dark. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

My guess is a fuel filter. Give that a go.

Say it is the fuel filter, what is it that keeps it from moving fuel at part throttle that doesn't stop it at full throttle? Is there a correlation there?

Time for tune-up items: fuel filter, plugs, clean maf sensor.....might run some seafoam through it too.

If you wanna do a quick check to see if your maf sensor is dirty and needs cleaned, unplug it and go for a drive.

I did the plugs and wires when I changed my headers. Ran seafoam through it a month prior. So I assume that all that is left is the condition of the MAF and the fuel filter.

I had this too.

Tried:

Seafoam. Didn't help
Fuel Filter. Didn't help
Cleaned the mass airflow sensor. Made all the difference in the world.

I descreened my MAF for the dry shot, I guess I'll hit it with some electrical contact cleaner and clean it on up. I appreciate your input Desert Rat, looks like I have to add that to my list once it gets above 38 degrees up here.

Wait a minute, the car doesn't look for the MAF unless you're above 4k rpms.. guess my fuel filter is the culprit then.
