yea the red dot blinks, but ive never had a clicker or an issue like this and Ive had the car 2 years. Usually the alarm will go off and ill put the key in the ignition and just start it up.

i think he meant the security light in the gauge cluster, not the blinking one on the dash...
your entire gauge cluster is dead, but your radio and windows work??
do u have a dome light? brake lights??... odd
did the battery go dead on you and then you tried to jump it???

if im thinkin this is what it is, its happened to me before, the alarm system like locks the car down and that stupid security light comes on on the cluster right? That happened to me but what i did was locked the car from the keypad then unlocked it again, and it started. i then took it to the place my alarm was bought/installed and found out one of my wires on it was fried and that it developed a mind of its own.......lmao......but thats what i think your problem is.What kinda alarm is it neways?

Ignition fuse. The 50A one. If that is the culprit, check both sides to ground with a meter on your ohm scale and troubleshoot from there. My starter relay locked up, caused my starter to lock up after 8-9 minutes and I blew that fuse. Symptoms are similar for that blown fuse, though a 50A fuse is a big one and you should troubleshoot the system before you stick another one in just to blow it.
