Default T-Top lock fell out help

I was driving down the road and i turned left when i did the drivers side t-top lock just fell out and hit me in the head. I now have my t-top off my car in my house and have took the 2 screws out of the sides of it that hold the plastic shroud on and took the screw out that holds the weather stripping on.
I then pulled the weather stripping off from the right just enough to reveal a screw under the weather stripping that looks as if some how it would hold the lock in place, but after messing with it for 45min. i just can't seem to get the lock to stay in place in the t-top. Please Help!

Take apart your other t top and compare. See what part is missing and take a picture.

I can pull a part number if you have a picture of what is missing.

I think you are just missing the large c looking spring clip.

the c clip is missing, its the only thing that holds the lock in place.
