Default Proper maintenance schedule for 02 Z28

I want to keep my 2002 Z28 running well up into the 100,xxx miles zone. Right now it has 34,000 miles and the only maint its had is oil changes every 2-3k miles, and had the breaks checked, tires rotated.

What should I have replaced at what mileage? Someone told me I should change the fuel filter and spark plugs, and clean the air filter ( has aftermarket one that can be cleaned ).

I would like opinions from here as the dealership tried to sell me some lame $559 maintenance for every 30K miles. WTF...

I also have a 2002 Z28 and am interested in keeping her going as long as possible, She is sitting at just under 50K miles and so far I have had new brakes and the rest other regular consumables, (oil and tires).

I would say fuel filter and possibly fuel pump between 60-80K.

Also which air filter do you have?
The last one I bought was a K&N non disposable.

I also knew someone with a 97 Z28 that replaced fuel pump, water pump and fuel filter at every 30K miles.

Fuel filter is easy and cheap, but not nec. to change regularly. And i wouldnt change the pump unless it goes out! I have also been told to change your trans fluid and rear end oil every 10k! just a few thoughts!

Anyone else have opinions? Did a search, seems like for the most part the only thing that people agree on universily is geting the oil changed every 3k.
