Default Alarm Question

Hey, got a quick question for you guys & girls. When I lock my doors it does the lil' -beep- -beep- and waits about 5 seconds or so, then the alarm goes off. Doesn't matter if it's still or windy outside, still goes off. Tried it yesterday by using the door lock, same thing. My thoughts are that the alarm control box in the trunk is going bad, but I really would like to find out what it could be from other people's standpoints, maybe someone else has had this problem. Thanks for any & all help!!

I'm not sure but you might want to try unpluging the two shock sensors in the hatch under each side. It may be something bad in them.

Ok, I'll give it a shot. Thanks. Any idea what a new module will run me? I'm gonna check ebay in a couple of minutes though.

Just one shock sensor, on the passenger side wheel well. If disconnecting it stops it from going off you probably found the problem. You can also try turning the sensitivity all the way down.
