Default Headlight motor repair

Ok, so I got the new headlight motor all bolted in. The problem i'm having is with the hinge. It seems as if the hinge is binding up and the motor has insufficient power to raise/lower the headlight. I have the hinge in the correct position with the metal tab tucked under. Any idea what might be wrong? Do I perhaps not have the hinge fully seated on the motor?

WTF? I can't get the stupid light to come up, If I install the motor with the lights in the up position, the motor'll put the light down alright, but then it just flinches when I try to put the lights up, like it doesn't have enough power or something. Also, I noticed now that my headlight doesn't come on when the lights are in the up position(On the broken side), even when the connectors are fully seated. Ugh, I hate GM sometimes.

It is possible that you didnt put the bushing back in the headlight assembly. or u bent the bars when you were taking it off and on. I would check that!

I didn't disassemble the headlight motor, I got an all new one, but the bent bars is a possibility, Thanks!
