If your car has t-tops, you need to remove the T-top first. There's a screw in the end of the A-pillar that needs to be removed. Then the plastic pillar will just pull right off.
If your 'bird doesn't have t-tops, then just pull the pillar off. It'll run as one piece from the base of the windshield to the back of the door glass.
