Default whirring sound driver front of engine bay

i hear a fan coming on and off at random times in the driver side of the engine bay. I have an slp fan switch and when i turn the fan on its not that sound. Is there an ecu fan or something up there? Seems to come on when i first start it, but it comes off and on alot.

Could be the secondary air pump - it's under the drivers side headlight area.

Does it die down when you gas it and then disappear after a couple minutes? Probably the AIR pump. I had the same problem and ripped it out.
