Need help my 02 ss is running poorly

Default Need help my 02 ss is running poorly

I have a 2002 camaro ss 35th anniversary it a automatic my mods are a K&N fipk intake, edelbrock shortie ceramic coated headers, comp cam 212/218 522/525 cam, 85hp nos, and a tune and when i start my car alot of smoke comes out the exhuast pipes and it kind of smells like fuel and I acclerate the car stumbles i took to a chevy dealer and they changed a 02 sensor and its still acting the same when i went to to it the guy who tuned the car said the car gave its self to much fuel i changed fuel filters still the same can someone give me some advice its really getting on my nerves thank you

Retune? I don't know what the problem could be.

Well it sounds like this character isn't the best tuner in the world. Sounds like you are running waaaayyyy to rich.

I know its running rich but he tuned it twice do you think it could be a faulty injector theres pops from the exhaust maybe a blown head gasket?

If he didn't tune it right the first time, I don't think he tuned it right the second time.

What kind of spark plugs are you running? Wires look good?

Try and get someone to look over your tune.

stock plugs and msd wires that are about 5 months old so you really think its the tune
and not a injector or something

chevrolet told me the plugs are still good

Check your MAF. It could hve a small dingle berry throwing everything off. It wouldn't hurt to clean it, just use some electrical parts cleaner. It will not leave any residue and let it dry before re-installing.

I had a SLP mass air flow sensor that was brand new the dealership told me to put the factory one back in and clean it before I do so I cleaned it and put it on and its the same results

I would get a second opinion on that tune. The tune can make you or break you!

Im taking my ss to a different tuner tomarrow ill update you guys to say if that was the problem I wanna thank you guys for your thoughts
