Default asr

my 00 camaro z28 did not come with tcs that you could turn off on the dash i have an asr switch for the dash how would i run the wires from the switch to the tcs to turn it off when i have a need to

My car didn't come with ASR either. You can't just add the switch and make it turn on and off. ASR/TCS cars have sensors at each rear wheel, 4 channel versus 3 channel ABS, etc. Glad I don't have it, never have to turn it off.

If you don't have TCS, then you have nothing to turn off

it has tcs someone before me took the fuse out of the fuse panel and i want to put it back in and was wandering if i could wire up a switch to turn it off when i dont want it

well just look for a connector behind the dash! it should be there if the car did have ASR! if not then its not worth converting

If it has no fuse it has no power which means it's off. Camaro TCS is terrible anyway, I'm glad I don't have it.

even cars without asr have the wiring still behind the dash. connector and everything.

so do i just look behind the panel where they would normally mount the switch

so i could just buy a asr switch and make it a neat and clean installation im gonna need it here in a few months
