high idle need help...

Default high idle need help...

i put on my long tubes and took out the AIR system, i plugged up the little hose to... since then when my car is at an complete stop it will idle normal... but when in gear or cruising in neutral my car tries to stay at about 1.5 - 2 rpms.. does anyone have any suggestions?

Since you have headers now, you need a tune anyway. I assume you flashed your PCM to let it relearn itself also. A4 or M6 and what year?

look into a unmetered air leak...somewhere you might have pulled a vaccum line or not tightend something, a tune wouldnt hurt but thats probably not the reason why its got a high idle...

Its a 2001 m6. the only vacume line i disconnected was the little one that went into the T hose things for the air system. But after disconnecting it i plugged it.

I agree with a vacuum leak. Look around and see if anything is disconnected.

vacum or intake leak somewhere . easy fix man , just tetrace your steps on anything that could be pulling in some air .
