Default Power window issues....AGAIN

Well here is a odd ball problem for me. I replaced the passenger side window motor, no problem...it worked great. Then before I saw auto trix's kit that will increase the power of you window by providing it more electrical current I tried to do it myself. Well it didnt work so I wired it back to how it originally was and passenger side window button work fine. But I now cannot do anything with the passenger side window from the drivers side.....wont go up or down. Any ideas? Damn these windows are pissing me off....

Sure you got the wiring back to original? When my passenger side completely died and replaced the motor the pass switch worked, but not from the drivers side - I replaced the drivers side switch module and worked fine. Gremlins.

The driver side switch may have died, although thatd be a pretty big coincidence to happen at the same time you were screwing with everything. I'd either say that, or that you did something wrong with the wiring. If all else fails you could just buy a new switch....mine was like 10 bucks so its not really a pricey thing.

It worked until you tried to out-smart it - then it broke just to screw with you. This is common on F-bodies.

Thats about my luck.

An I do have it back to the factory wiring.....its only two wires. Pretty easy. So hmmmm, just rip both doors off the car and buy new ones?
