Default Clogged fuel lines

I was having trouble not being able to start my car yesterday. So i unhooked the fuel line and put it in a bottle to see if i was getting fuel ( the larger line is the feed line right?) well i was getting very little to none. I replaced the fuel filter today thinking it was clogged but same thing. I did hear the pump prime but that doesnt mean its not going out. So i want to start with the cheapest first so how do you check to see if a fuel line is clogged? there are no fuel leaks. Also which of the two lines is the feed and return line? I have an LT-1. Thanks

yea i have replaced the filter about 2 hours ago. I just went ahead and ordered a ractronix pump kit that comes with everything. I figured it the only thing that it will hurt is my wallet, even then its a better deal then just getting a replacement pump. I really hope this is the problem. I also replaced the fuel pump relay thinking that could be the problem. Now i did just do a tranny install but i looked every where to see if i pinched some wired and there is nothing. So i dont know.

Attach a fuel pressure gauge to the schrader off the rail, Actron has one reasonably priced at parts stores for about 40 bucks.

I do not know the cranking psi for an lt1, but if its really low, you will know.

i pretty much know its not putting out fuel. If i had the right line disconnected i put it in an empty 2 liter bottle and during prime or cranking very little to no fuel was in the bottle. later on i did notice some fuel but it was like just leaking out the line definitely was no 40 to 42 psi. Thats why i'm trying to figure which on is feed and return and how to check for clogged lines. But i should definitely get a fuel pressure gauge. Thank you

i unclogged my 3rd gen before with a air pressure hose. Shot something right out of the line...I put rags around the air pressure hose and into the gas tank... And let it rip. Worked for me

I'd unhook the fuel filter and have somebody turn the key forward and see if any fuel comes out. If it does then you have a problem someplace between there and the fuel rail/injectors. If not then it's the pump. Sometimes they still sound like they are pumping but they actually aren't.

ill try the air compressor thing tomorrow by blowing air from the fuel rail and i will disconnect to fuel filter, see if anything comes out from the line between there. I figured that since i did hear the pump that it does work but its going out and not pumping the correct fuel pressure. I am also hoping that this could be the cause to my left and right O2 lean codes and why my car has been hesitating off and on.

Yes it very well could be causing the problems you were having with it hesitating if it was starving for fuel
