Default What did i break?

On my LS1 from my 02 camaro what is the black vertical about 2 inch long thing that sits on top of the back of the engine behind the intake manifold that has a plug into it.

Mine is no longer in tact.. so im wondering how much of a pain and what im going to have to do to replace/repair whatever i broke.

Thanks in advance.

sounds like the oil pressure sending uint. you have to pull the intake to remove it because there isnt any f in room under the cowl

Well i got the intake off and im working in the engine bay of an rx7 so i think i can get to it... but right it is right behind the intake and it "snapped off" i think.. ill have to look at it again when i get home, but i can feel where it snapped off and it feels like a piece of flimsy foil like on the top of a sealed beverage in the hole.

Oil pressure sending unit for sure. It's easy to break.
