major oil leak but can't see source?

Default major oil leak but can't see source?

i have a major oil leak coming from the back of the motor right above the transmission but i can't see exactly what is leaking any ideas for me to look for?

oil pan gasket, rear main seal, rear intake gasket leak?

see if you can determine how high up it's coming

its above the trans. a good stream is coming out at idle you think it could be and intake gasket?

if it's that much and as high up as the intake manifold, you may want to lift that manifold off and check the oil pressure sending unit, see if that is broken or loose.. something along the lines of direct pressure is awry if that much is coming out at idle.

Does the pressure gauge work? If you let it sit and idle does it leak bad enough to form a puddle in a few minutes?
Could be the oil pressure sending unit. It's on the drivers side rear of the engine.
