I just bought this car and I thought i looked over it very closely... This is my "beater" car for work.. I didnt pay much for it, but cannot have it leaking oil..

What are the typical places for this engine to leak oil!? It leaves pin-pong sized spots wherever the car sits for a couple hours.... Looks like its dripping from the front and back, since there is usually 2 puddles...

Im nervous my "cheap" beater car is going to need some spendy repairs... I bought the Z34 with the 3800 for its reliability, efficiency, and cheaper repairs...

Any ideas!?

The vette is an 01. I photoshopped the pic of the speedo. And it has since been sold.. I need to make a new sig...

the valve covers usually, you are lucky you didnt buy a 95-97, haha with the 3.4L DOHC, cause those bitches leak oil and it is NOT an easy fix. i found that out the hard way. i never had to change the oil, just changed the filter and added a quart every week.

i would get some brake clean or engine brite and pressure wash the motor, put it on a lift too and run it until you can pinpoint the leak...in my experience mostly valve covers leak, but these motors consume oil from the factory....i forget why, something to do with the valve guides seeping oil.
