Default leak

i have a leak between the tranny and motor its not a big leak but it just drips for a little bit after driving the car, where is the leak comming from?

I think the rear seal leaking is a common problem. But Duffster is right, make sure you find out what it is first. It could be the clutch hydraulics, your tranny, or coming from a valvecover gasket.

It wouldn't be clutch hydraulics because he has an auto.

no, not clutch, but could be oil, tranny fluid, water (condenser for a/c), brake fluid (longshot, but could be) or engine coolant.

Usually if its only leaking during or just after the motor has been running then its a rear main seal

it does leak after the motor has been running, and the fluid is brown iam assuming is oil.
