Default HEADLIGHT Probems HELP!!!!

When i push lock and unlock on the key pad both head lights flip up and down and i get this loud embarassing noise like a jackhammer from the drive side light. Both lights have no problem going up and down.Has anyone else had this problem?

Not sure, I guess so. When I had the same problem, I replaced the motor/actuator.

I pay 5% over GM cost, and they were still expensive as hell...

103 for the driver side, and 99 for the passenger.

My headlight motor was so bad on the passenger side, that it just stopped going up.

It's been a while but I think it did that. It might only be when the foglights are left in the on position (normally just the parking lights flash) even though that shouldn't effect the headlights.

they can go up and down when you lock/unlock your car its a way you can set up your alarm to do that BUT if they do that and you hear a grinding noise in your headlights then its a sign that A. your headlight motor gear is wear out or B. your motor is going out.

they have the motors at Oreillys part number 49-125, i just paid 65.99 for it. Had to order it and was arrived next day. They are reman so far so good and with lifetime warranty it wears out go get a new one. When my drivers side motor was going out and i activated/deactivated my alarm, my lights went up and down same as you are describing. Replace the gear or the motor that will fix it.

My buddys formula did that forever, and now my other buddies WS6 just started doing it. Both ended up being faulty headlight switches.
