So here is a weird issue with my 98 ws6. When I turn the headlamps on, they will flip up, but the lights will not go on. If I flick the highbeams on and off again rapidly, they will turn on, but dim, and then go off. Any ideas what this might be? Could it be new bulbs, but both at exactly the same time? Seems more electrical to me, thanks!

read it but nothign in there about my situation, my headlights go up and down ok

You know, your alternator could be going. Hook up some jumper cables to another car at night and see if the headlights look like normal intensity.
