Default Cross Country Drivers??

Anyone drive across country say from the Louisiana area to say the Arizona area or any route that would cover from one to the other?

I just worked out a purchase on a vehicle (used to live in Az) and with the price of gas I trying to maybe catch a ride as opposed to flying. To fly there and then the gas back is going to be alot.

from San Diego, CA to Ocala FL, then Ocala, FL back to San Diego CA. Great drive but make sure you do the speed limit in Texas, they are ******** for out of state speeders.

Texas can be bad. Oklahoma is worse. They will get you for looking at the cops funny. New Mexico never had a problem.

New Mexico was easy, i averaged 90-95mph all the way through. LA sucked, the roads were horrible and the traffic on that long *** bridge was aggravating as hell. Slidell or however you spell it was a **** town too.

You should also consider having it shipped. If the pickup and drop off locations are near freeways it could be a lot cheaper than you think to have it delivered to you door. I had my car shipped 480 miles for only $295. Saved me a lot of time and hassle.

getting it shipped is a good option. But i can drive back to FL from CA for $450 in gas. Last time i looked to get my car shipped not in an enclosed trailer was close to $1k.
