Default power window buttons...

The power window buttons on the driver side have sunken into the door handle. I can no longer raise or lower my windows because I can't get to them. Is there a write up on how to fix this?

Does that panel just pop off and on?

So basically you broke the switch panel cover? Plastic piece that holds the switches into the door panel?

You can buy a switch panel ( not sure of the actual name ) at most GM dealerships for under $20, it's not hard to replace either.

yes it does. mines dropped in and i just pulled it out, pushed it back into place, and used the wires as a cushion so it doesn't fall in again.

Switch panel covers are discontinued as far as I know. Where did you get them?

I tried Classic Industries and they have some parts but not these. I didn't call them to verify just checked the online cat. Most likely bet is E-Bay. The dealer says they don't have them. You might get lucky and find an online dealer that has them if you call around.

What about the clips for the panels? I was told that the dealer has those but if they don't have the panel then is the clip not available either? Because I need one, car came with one missing somehow so the panel pops out all the time.

Hmmm is the panel cover marred up so that if you put a new clip on there it would come off again?

I think I might have one but I would have to dig for it.

It is scratched a little bit but otherwise looks normal. It looks like he took the panel off to check the wiring (when I got the car the driver motor was bad) and in the process of removing the panel lost the clip somehow.
