Default Need new plugs and wires in LT1 TA

I have a 94' TA and I've had it for 4 years and haven't changed them, and don't know when the previous owner did, and it's starting to show it. My dad works for Napa and can get parts at a pretty good cost. My dad knows the guys at a shop we were going to take it to (he has sold them some equipment recently). The owner recommended some certain type of wires that were more expensive... like $125 or something, and claimed they last a lot longer and are thicker and better than the Napa brand.

So... is he BSing to sell expensive wires, or will some Napa ones be just as good? Or what do you guys recommend? I really need to have this done this week.

I think the owner said something about the engine is so hot it makes the napa wires deteriorate faster or something... but idk
