Clunking from the rear when taking off from a stop

Well descibe the sound better. Is it a small clicking sound? Then it might be your driveshaft. If it is more of a loud clunking sound it most likely is your diff or something in the rear. Remember, our 10 bolts are POS's and it doesn't take much to brake them. I'm on my third set of diff/gears.

got a noise coming from that area too (back of car) but mine only does it once in awhile, Am pretty sure mines not the diff, got a feeling somthing is a little loose but haven't found it yet

Staging Lane
I had a clunking noise from my rear from a stop, and when I went over speed bumps. Turns out my exhaust hanger broke off, and my tips were banging. Just another thing to check.

does it only do it when you take off, or does it also do it when you go over bumps. cuz mine did it over bumps and i put some new end links on my sway bar and the noise went away...and then i added a umi phb...even better.
