Default Clunking from the rear when taking off from a stop

Any idea what this could be? I only get it when taking off from stops with a good amount of gas

How could that be? I don't race my car, and I haven't even done any hard take offs in the past months or so.

Well descibe the sound better. Is it a small clicking sound? Then it might be your driveshaft. If it is more of a loud clunking sound it most likely is your diff or something in the rear. Remember, our 10 bolts are POS's and it doesn't take much to brake them. I'm on my third set of diff/gears.

What condition are your bumpstops? Check your bolts on your panhard bar. Especially the top ones.

Not as light as clicking. Like a small series of small clunks.. like a rocky sound

I had a clunking noise from my rear from a stop, and when I went over speed bumps. Turns out my exhaust hanger broke off, and my tips were banging. Just another thing to check.

does it only do it when you take off, or does it also do it when you go over bumps. cuz mine did it over bumps and i put some new end links on my sway bar and the noise went away...and then i added a umi phb...even better.

He works on ALOT of peoples F-Bodies all over Lauderdale. He does EVERYTHING on my car. CHEAP!!!!! compared to the dealerships and any other shops would charge.
