Default window stuck down and i need to replace motor

What do i do to get the window up? I need to change the motor out but window is stuck down. I am guessing the window needs to be up to get at the motor. Not sure where to go from here.

Thanks in advance for your help

Let it cooldown and hit the panel and it will go up. Mine did

Could be the Window switch. or Motor

I did, the window motor is completely shot. Its been dying for a while and id let it rest and it go up but not anymore. It wont go up at all.

i tried searching but all i could find was threads on how to replace the motor and nothing on what to do if the windo is stuck down while trying to change the motor.

the window doesn't go up or down. it clicks under the dash when the button is depressed but nothing happens. The driver side buttons work because the passanger side window works fine.

what sucks most is that I am at work and its raining. my car is in a garage but its supposed to storm right around when i get off
