Yet another exciter wire issue
The exciter wire on my 2k T/A broke. I replaced the alternator and battery since my volt gauge was low. I discovered the red wire was broken when I went to disconnect the wire from my old alternator. I went ahead and replaced the alternator anyways and repaired the exciter wire connection. Problem is, my gauge still reads around 8 instead of around 15. What else can I do to get this resolved? Replace the entire exciter wire from the alternator to the PCM?
